Dr Owhojedo Henry MBBS, Medicine and Surgery...
is a physician
and medical practitioner. He qualified from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State,
Nigeria, over 20 years ago. He is fully registered with
the Nigeria Medical Association, (NMA).
He is also an honorary director of Vicah Clinic, a Hospital and Maternity Clinic in Warri
South Local Government Area, Delta State. He returned to Uvwie Local Government Secretariat Clinic
in 2016 from Udu Local Government Secretariat Clinic after previously heading the Uvwie Local Government
Area Secretariat Primary Health Care Department to replace the transfered Head of Primary Health Care
Department in Uvwie l.g.a.
He is the founder and director of Vicah Clinic, Warri, Delta State where is is presently practicing
as the senior doctor in the hospital. He has undertaken several delivery sessions and surgeries over the
years and continues to do so both in the private and government hospital sectors. He is the representative of
Uvwie l.g.a Primary Health Care department both in the State and in Federal level in matters of diseases
outbreak and outbreak responses from the local government to the state and eventually the federal
government for evaluation and possible solutions to health concerns. He practices general medicine
and coordinates the various primary health care clinics in the uvwie l. g. a.
He has written for both doctors and nursing professional journals and lectured on many
subjects, including osteopathy, paediatric osteopathy, osteopathic technique, cranial osteopathy, and clinical audit at both
undergraduate and post graduate level. He has also published research on cranial osteopathy.
His main interests are in the fields of research, education, back pain, shoulder dysfunction, & cranial
osteopathy.

Okoro Dora, BSc
(Hons) Nursing, MSc Mental Nursing,
is a practicing Local Immunization
Officer at Uvwie Local Government Secretariat, Effurun. She qualified from the school of nursing.
She is fully registered with the Registered Nursing Association of Nigeria. is a staff of
the Primary Health Care Authority, Uvwie chapter, Delta State.
Dora became the Local Immunization Officer at Uvwie Local Government Secretariat, Effurun after
previously working as the matron at Enerhen I primary health care center for many years. She has also
had postgraduate training in midwifery and mental nursing.
She takes care of expectant mothers, new born babies, nursing mothers and takes evaluative stock
of incoming and outgoing vaccines. She has a special interest in the mental nursing.
Dora is an Associated Practitioner with the Primary Health Care Authority, Delta State, an organization
that is dedicated to helping people with arthritis enjoy a more active life with less pain.
They also nurture maternal and new born child and undertake in statistical evaluation and
representation of vaccine distribution and administration.

Odigwe Teressa, BSc (Hons) Nursing, C.C.O.
Teressa is a fully qualified and registered Nurse and medical practitioner. She is a
graduate of School of Health, Ofoma, Delta State. Teressa is a member of the Regitered
Nursing Associaion of Nigeria. She worked in the Primary Health Care center in Kwale for years as
the Assistant Cold Chain Officer before she was posted to Uvwie Local Government Secreariat Clinic,
Effurun, the head office of the primary health care centers in Uvwie Local Government Area. She is the
health care officer in charge of taking vaccine inventory, distribution and collation of statistical
data from the various health care center across the local government area, recording and posting of
he collated data to the state headquarter for further evaluation and recommendation. She also gives
medical diagnosis and counsels to maternal and new born child patients and also referral where
necessary.
Teressa treats all kinds of musculoskeletal problems including low back pain. she intends to
further her understanding of the treatment of children with special needs, expectant mothers.

Effurun clinic.
